So I've joined Tropic Skin Care. As if life wasn't hectic enough :-) Alongside doing a PhD and running an extremely busy vegan social group in Manchester, I've become a Tropic Ambassador, too. I'm totally in love with the products, have noticed a huge difference to my own skin from using them, and I wanted to earn some extra income, so when I learned what it was like to be part of the Tropic team, it was a done deal. See my picture? That's me on stage at the Tropic 'Glammies', after doing so well in my start up.
Have you heard of Tropic? If the answer is no, then you definitely need to hear about it! The company is owned by Susan Ma and Lord Alan Sugar, and I was converted after discovering that two of their products, the Tamanu Healing Balm and the Organic Elixir Oil, worked brilliantly on helping my eczema. This was after not finding anything else anywhere near as effective in the almost three years of having eczema. Plus, I've become super aware of using skin-safe products, not ones that have several carcinogens (such as parabens) in them. While my makeup bag may have been full of vegan-friendly high-street products, I found a substantial amount of nasties in them! This I am now rectifying as I replace with Tropic.
Obviously, it will come as no surprise that Tropic products are vegan (thereby cruelty-free, which means not tested on animals and not animal-derived). It's not just part of the range that is vegan, but ALL of it. Running my own buisness selling their products, I couldn't support anything that wasn't vegan through and through. I don't quite get how companies can apply ethics to only some of their products, and then forget about the rest. I guess it's not about applying ethics, it's about having a few products they can sell to a certain group of people, which makes them altogether questionable. So joining a company like that would not have been for me.
Also, Tropic products are seriously effective. Like I couldn't be involved with anything that wasn't vegan, I couldn't be behind anything that I didn't believe in personally. I was loving and using Tropic products such as the Tamanu Healing Balm, the Instant Glow, the Lip Glazes, Face Smooth etc etc, before I joined the team and started my own business. Now, I'm a full-on skincare addict, I do my night-time routine religiously, and YES...my skin looks fresher and better for it! I love the fresh, natural scents of the products, the feel of them on my skin, and the fact that they are honestly-priced luxurious products that won't cause me any harm.
If you've never explored the Tropic range before, have a sneaky peak on my online shop! One of the great things about Tropic is that they offer a 30 day money back guarantee, so you can try the products and if you're really not happy, you can send them back and get a refund!
You can join my Tropic Facebook group here!
If, after reading this post you're even interested in joining Tropic yourself, then please feel free to give me a shout and enquire about becoming an ambassador! It's been a super experience so far, and I'm all for getting more people to share the Tropic love and join my team.
Andrea this is just fabulous, your Tropic Family ... Just love your passion xx

Tropic products are good for skins. They are not tough as such. Thanks for sharing

Tropic sounds like a cool name. I'm a big fan of cruelty-free products so I will definitely look into this brand.
