What's there to complain about in life when the postie delivers a box of vegan choccie and Easter eggs, all for you? This week has been a tough one as I fell sick last Sunday and am still not right. But on Friday, I was cheered up immensely after I opened a package to discover that Ethical Superstore sent me this scrummy little selection of chocolate goodies. And being that I had to cancel my weekend going-out plans, what else to do but eat my way through this yummy assortment?
Receiving the Booja Booja egg was a real treat. Booja Booja is the Godiva of the vegan world, and their chocolates are exquisite. The beautiful hand-painted egg that I was lucky enough to be sent contained three of the delicious rum-sozzled truffles, which are just gorgeous. I love the light cocoa dusting, and the soft rum truffle inside. While these eggs are not a budget-buy at £9.99, they are a very much a special gift. Because - of course - you get to keep the lovely and unique painted egg, which can be used a jewellery box or similar.
I enjoyed the Moo Free Cranberry & Hazelnut Bar, even while admittedly, the Moo range has never been one of my favourite vegan chocolate brands. This bar though, with the plentiful cranberries and scattering of hazelnuts, was rather tasty. I think with Moo, it lacks the depth of flavour that some of the other vegan choccies manage to have, and to me has that slightly 'cheap' chocolate taste. But with the added Mind you, when I bought my nephews Moo easter eggs last year, they loved them. Enough said.
As for the Divine Dark Chocolate Easter Egg, I haven't got around to trying this yet. I mean, how gutsy do you think I am? I thought it would be quite nice to actually save this for Easter. However, I've tried some of the dairy-free Divine choccie previously and have really liked it. And I think this egg, at Ethical Superstore's price of £3.20, is very reasonable for delectable Fairtrade chocolate.

There is still time to order for Easter from Ethical Superstore, or just order for eating anyhow (free delivery on orders over £50). Chocolate is good for anytime, not just now.
