Temple Bar Cultural Trust in Dublin will make the dreams of every chocolate fan come true with their first ever Chocolate Festival. The three day festival of tantalizingly tasty events will take place on the 25th, 26th and 27th July, when you can experience and enjoy a range of FREE cultural events and cuisine in a celebration of chocolate!
And who doesn't love a celebration of chocolate?
The passion for chocolate will be experienced not only through tastings, but chocolate can also be discovered culturally through film, literature and the visual arts. The organisers behind the festival ask:
"Why not taste some chocolate cinematic delights at a screening of Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory under the stars at Meeting House Square, meet 12 of Ireland’s finest chocolate chocolate artisan producers at the Chocolate Fair as they display, sell, sample and celebrate high quality handmade chocolate, and learn about the surprising health benefits of high quality chocolate at an interactive discussion and tasting!?
Why not indeed? If I was over in Dublin right now - a city I've been many a time and enjoyed, I'd definitely be there.
