Last Friday I had my third fitness session with David and it was definitely my favourite so far, even though it was also the hardest physically. The reason behind this was that we finished the session doing some boxing/pad work - and I loved it!
Talk about pent up aggression - David said he could see it in my face how much I was getting out of punching those pads! But I had had some stresses to go through that week (although I have to admit, they didn't affect me anywhere near as much as equivalent stressors used to).
I think that what I'm noticing overall is, as well as the improved physical fitness I am gaining, my mental state of being is really benefiting from the extra exercise. I know this is combined with other changes in my life, for example, I've started meditating much more and I've begun a Tai Chi class, but I think it is all interlinked.
I think it is fundamental to be working on 'mind, body and spirit' if we are to really achieve happiness, health and contentment, and diet, fitness and mental wellbeing all come into that.
Recieved this same message 4 times yesterday and twice today.
I believe exercise is a good way to releave stress and it does the body good. You don't have to be a dieter to benefit from exercise. I exercise to keep my joints from hurting so much in the mornings.

Do you mean you got the Feedblitz email through that many times Vicki? That's odd!
I have always been very fond of running to relieve stress - but my joints do suffer when I run so that's not good! I've started Tai Chi and that's great for stress-relief!
