I was going to report on it, but Bernadette Fallon got there first in her blog for allaboutyou.com. What am I talking about? That delicious and delectable Chocolate Week of course. Bernadette, who edits allaboutyou.com, is talking particularly about one of the events in the line-up, but there is a whole luscious list!
Seven indulgent days dedicated to our favourite cocoa confection and starting on the 16th October. It looks like most of the events are in or around London or 'down sarf', but some sound pretty divine. How about discovering British fine chocolates with a formal tasting and exploration of the art of real chocolatier? That's on the 16th at Contented Vine Bar Restaurant and organised by Seventypercent.com.
Or you could enjoy the Fine Wine with Fine Chocolate event (oh yeah baby) brought to you by Paul A Young Fine Chocolates on the 18th October? There is plenty more on, although if you're going to try and make just one of these tempting occasions then maybe it should be the 'La Soiree du Chocolat' charity chocolate burlesque party on Thursday 19th October.
According to Chocolate Week, it’s an "evening of decadence, indulgence and fun combining fine chocolate and burlesque cabaret at London’s most elegant cabaret club, Volupte. Guests can book now for a full evening of entertainment including dinner, chocolate cocktails and a champagne reception for £75 or book for the entertainment and party only for £25, tel: 020 8752 2868."
Indulge!
Wonderful site, I am really loving it! Look around folks!
