So how does it feel...?

...to not wake up in the morning and wonder how you'll plan the day with regards to exactly how many calories or fat grams you'll consume?
...to forget about eating and get back on with your day once you've enjoyed your meal and fed your hunger?
...to be bored stiff hearing your friends talk about 'being good' or 'eating low-fat'?
...to never, ever (in a million years) consider buying a meal replacement bar, low-fat yogurt, slim soup or anything else that is about as far removed from food as you can imagine, but purports to help you lose weight?
...to go for a swim because you enjoy, not because you're trying to work off a doughnut from lunch?
Well, let me tell, it feels bloody FANTASTIC!!!!
And in case you're wondering, the picture you see is the home of Nelson Mandela in Soweto where he lived before he was imprisoned. I thought it was apt, considering many dieters are living in their own kind of imprisonment. One which I feel free of now.

It feels bloomin great! I forgot how boring I must have been all those years watching peoples faces glaze over when I talked calories or syns. Still working on eating intuitively through a fantastic programme but already, the sense of freedom is such a relief. Just bought the Beyond Chocolate book too as I was intrigued!
